I offer humanist and non-religious funeral ceremonies to give a personal and meaningful touch to parting with someone you love.
The aim is to provide a personalised and affectionate tribute to the person who has died and to celebrate this life. Additionally it is to help bring comfort to the people left behind.
What I do
- Meet with family and friends to get to know more about the deceased to ensure to capture the unique life this person has lived.
- Give advise on practical matters; for instance about the committal.
- Listen to- and suggest about music or reading choices.
- Write a unique and fitting ceremony. A presentation copy of the final script shall be given to the family and/or fiends.
- Lead the ceremony with warmth and compassion.
If you would like me to conduct a Humanist ceremony, please feel free to contact me. From that point onwards- after agreeing to take the service- I shall let the funeral director know that I am organising the ceremony. They shall liaise with me directly about my fee for the ceremony.
